July heat in N. California26 viewsI think hot is an understatment.

Half-Life 2 on a 36 inch CRT TV20 viewsUsed my video card's component video output :). HL2 looked great on the TV, but Windows didn't. My computer BSOD'ed a couple of times so I'm guessing that might have been when my RAM was dying.

The setup21 viewsHow I had the DC set up so I could both stream the game and play it on my TV. The card can only capture at 30 FPS max so it isn't very fun to play it off of my monitor.

Another shot of the dust10 viewsThis was probably the worst case of PSU dust I've seen. I'm surprised the PSU didn't die.

Sony P3 450 power supply16 viewsFrom a computer I tried fixing for someone. The back vent side had 50 or so little hex holes. Only about 4 of them weren't completely blocked off with dust. That pile is the result of taking canned air to the PSU. I had to throughly vacuum my carpet afterwards.

Desk/TV stand14 views32 inch Panasonic TV playing Gran Turismo 4 on my exploited PS2 :). The Genesis and DC are also on that shelf as well.

Fast?13 viewsFor whatever reason, my connection was going 1 Mbps above what it normally maxed out at. I was able to repeat the test results several times that day. They were back to normal (~7.2 Mbps max) the next day.

My dresser15 viewsAll of the computer parts are on it because that's when I was replacing my A64's motherboard (which is why I was using the XP).

VIVO is fun15 viewsExperimenting with the VIVO capabilities of my video card with my Dreamcast. Sometimes I will have the input stream encoded with Windows Media Encoder then streamed out to whoever bothers to watch. I hope to have a small section of my site displaying the status of that for visitors if they want to take a peek. It currently doesn't have audio as my CPU isn't capable of both compressing audio and video into a stream at the same time.Jun 28, 2006
